Conceived from the outset as a work with multiple layers of meaning, yet never neglecting pure entertainment, the series claims to be the first shōnen manga to feature a Black, disabled female protagonist.
Visually, Issaka Galadima’s art is dynamic and detailed, whether in explosive fight scenes or in the expressions and charisma of his many endearing characters! The artist draws inspiration from action manga while integrating these influences into an original universe blending steampunk and Western elements.
